The Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO) is a remote wonderland or jagged ridges and high-altitude valleys (called pamirs). Essentially covering the eastern half of Tajikistan, it is sparsely populated by Kyrgyz and Tajik/Pamiri herder communities.

This video was shot flying a DJI Mavic drone, during the Borderlands expedition in 2018, organized by Studio D Radiodurans. Enjoy in 1080p, headphones.
